Abstract

The development of the video game world is currently
growing rapidly, one genre of games that is quite popular is the shooter. Shooter is a video game action subgenre, which is often used to test spatial awareness, reflexes, and the player's dexterity. However, now most shooter games are still computer-based, causing the player's spatial awareness, reflexes, and dexterity cannot be applied to the real world.
These deficiencies can be overcome by using virtual reality technology. In this final project, the author builds an archery virtual reality game entitled Archer Master. This game uses speech recognition as a control to use the capabilities of players in the game. This game uses Oculus Rift technology to display virtual reality. This technology has been equipped with an integrated microphone that can be used as a speech recognition input device in video games. This game was built with Unity Version 2019.2.11f1 with the C # programming language and Windows Speech Recognition API. Game assets are mostly obtained from the Unity Asset Store and the internet.
The results of the implementation of this game will be
tested using two testing methods, functionality testing and testing by users. 16 points on functionality testing successfully tested. While testing by users is carried out by 10 testers with three parameters, interface that produces 78.6%, immersivity 82%, and comfort 83.5%. With these results it can be concluded that the game Archer Master has implemented the design properly.
