Abstract
Perkembangan teknologi saat ini berpotensi untuk meningkatkan sektor maritim dari berbagai aspek. Sebagai salah satu negara maritim terbesar di dunia, Indonesia memiliki kesempatan untuk mengembangkan industri kemaritiman melalui aplikasi di bidang komputer. Beberapa manfaat yang dapat diperoleh antara lain pemasaran, desain manufaktur untuk pengenalan, pelatihan, serta bantuan pemeliharaan untuk survei kelautan. Penerapan teknologi komputer seperti pemodelan 3D, simulasi, virtual reality, augmented reality, dan computer vision akan selalu memberikan manfaat pada sektor maritim. Melalui pengaplikasian teknologi virtual reality, sektor kemaritiman dapat dikembangkan melalui sarana edukasi yang tidak hanya mengandalkan bentuk 2D atau 3D. Dalam aplikasi ini, pengguna akan berinteraksi dalam lingkungan maya yang disimulasikan seperti lingkungan yang sebenarnya. Terdapat dua fitur interaktif dalam aplikasi ini, yaitu fitur misi dimana pengguna diberikan tugas untuk menemukan setiap komponen sistem bilga pada kapal serta fitur jelajah dimana pengguna dibebaskan untuk mengeksplorasi kapal. Dengan virtual reality, pengguna dapat mempelajari sistem di kapal tanpa harus melakukan kunjungan secara langsung untuk melihat kondisi yang sebenarnya. Virtual reality akan memberikan lingkungan belajar maya yang dapat diakses secara mudah di mana saja dan kapan saja.

Current technological developments enhance the maritime sector from various aspects. As one of the largest maritime country in the world, Indonesia has the opportunity to develop the maritime industry through applications in the computer field. Some of the benefits that can be obtained include marketing, manufacturing design for promotion, training, and maintenance assistance for marine surveys. The application of computer technology such as 3D modeling, simulation, virtual reality, augmented reality, and computer vision will always provide benefits to the maritime sector. Through the application of virtual reality technology, the maritime sector can be developed through educational facilities that are not rely only on 2D or 3D forms. In this application, users will participate in a virtual environment that is simulated like the real environment. There are two interactive features in this application, namely the mission feature where the user is given the task of finding each component of the bilge system on the ship as well as a roaming feature where the user can freely explore the ship. With virtual reality, user is able to study systems on ship without having to directly visit to see the actual conditions. Virtual reality will provide a virtual learning environment that is able to be easily accessed anywhere and anytime.
