Abstract

The construction sector is one of sectors that supports Indonesia's economic growth. Increased production in construction sector can certainly increase production in other sectors related. Linkages between sectors are one of the important factors in regional development and in regional economic theory. In evaluating the interaction of certain sectors to another sector can use Structural Path Analysis. Structural Path Analysis is a method to identify networks that contain pathways that connect the influence of one sector to another sector in an economic system. The results of the Structural Path Analysis of the construction sector found that the largest production pathway to the construction sector are the trade sector, the coal mining sector, metal ore and other excavations, the construction sector, the industrial sector of metal goods, and the industrial sector of wood, rattan and bamboo goods. the petrochemical industry sector, and other services sectors. The construction sector's production in North Sulawesi is the lowest compared to other provinces in Indonesia. Whereas the highest construction sector’s production are in East Java and West Java.
