Abstract

Bendung adalah bangunan air yang dibuat melintang sungai,
membendung aliran sungai dan menaikkan level muka air di
bagian hulu. Konstruksi bendung menyebabkan sifat
kemenerusan (flow) sungai akan terinterupsi. Akibatnya, sungai
menjadi alur aliran yang terpotong-potong. Alur yang terpotong
ini menyebabkan perubahan keseimbangan alam, baik abiotik
(fisik) maupun biotik (bio-ekologis). Keseimbangan abiotik akan
terganggu, misalnya sedimen akan tertahan di bagian hulu dan
erosi terjadi di bagian hilir dan terjadi defisit air di bagian hilir.
Keseimbangan biotik juga terganggu, misalnya dengan
terputusnya alur nutrisi dan jalur migrasi fauna air sungai.
Dengan permasalahan yang ada maka diharapkan ikan dan
habitat akuatik lainnya dapat melalui rintangan tersebut (tubuh
bendung). Fishway didesain sesuai kapasitas ekologi serta
kapasitas kriteria bendung itu sendiri. Dari hasil analisa,desain
vertical slot dengan bentuk saluran bersekat dianggap memenuhi
kriteria-kriteria tersebut. Sesuai kebutuhan migrasi ikan dan
kesesuaian deesain maka didapatkan saluran fishway dengan
ukuran panjang 23,75 m, lebar 1,5 m dan tinggi sekat bervariasi
secara berjenjang dari ukuran 1 m hingga 1,35 (terdapat 20
sekat). Fishway ini memiliki debit aliran sebesar 0,115 m3
/det
sehingga dapat dilalui oleh ikan-ikan jenis perenang sedang
hingga cepat.

The barrage is a dam built across the river, used to block the
water stream and raise the water level in the upstream portion of
the river. The barrage construction causes the natural tidal and
river flow to disrupted. As a result, the river flow becomes
intermittent. This interrupted water flow causes a change of the
natural balance, both abiotic (physical) and biotic (bio-ecologic).
The natural balance of abiotic will be disrupted, for example, the
sediment will be retained in the upstream and downstream
erotion will occur, and this causes a water deficit in the
downstream. The natural balance of biotic will also be disrupted,
for example, a dissolution of the nutrients flow and the migration
routes of water fauna. With this existing problems, it is expected
that fish and the other aquatic habitats would be able to go
through this blockade (the barrage). Fishway is designed in
accordance to the ecological capacity and the barriage capacity
itself. The analysis result shows that the pool passage design with
sectional channels is considered to meet these criterias. In
accordance with the need of fish migration and the suitability of
the design, a fishway with a length of 23.75 m, a width of 1.5 m
and the tiered bulkhead varies from 1 m to 1.35 (there are 20
bulkhead) is obtained. This fishway has a flow rate of 0.115
m
3
/sec so it can be passed by medium to fast swimmer types of
fish.
