Abstract

Setiap mahasiswa harus memiliki kesiapan dalam menghadapi keprofesianalan pekerjaannya yang sesuai dengan bidang yang digelutinya. Dikarenakan hal tersebut, maka ITS menetapkan mata kuliah kerja praktik agar para mahasiswa memperoleh ilmu pengetahuan yang tidak diberikan oleh kampus. PT. PP (Persero), Tbk salah satu perusahaan yang bergerak dalam bidang kontraktor bangunan yang telah memiliki pengalaman dalam menangani bidangnya. Oleh karena hal tersebut, PT. PP (Persero), Tbk telah memberikan kesempatan kepada penulis untuk melaksanakan kerja praktik pada Proyek Gedung IT Mandiri. Proyek pembangunan Gedung IT Mandiri terletak di Jl. Letjen S Parman, Kelurahan Tomang, Kecamatan Grogol Petamburan, Jakarta Barat. Proyek ini dibangun pada lahan seluas 34.490 m2 yang terdiri dari empat bangunan meliputi menara utama, podium, digital hub, dan gedung parkir. Secara umum, terdapat beberapa hal yang dapat diperoleh dari kegiatan kerja praktik yaitu pengetahuan terhadap keorganisasian di proyek dan teknis pelaksanaan konstruksi di lapangan. Dalam hal keorganisasian proyek, banyak dipelajari mengenai tugas dan tanggung jawab masing – masing stakeholder dan divisi yang memiliki peran dalam pembangunan Gedung IT Mandiri. Pada saat melakukan pengamatan di lapangan, dapat diperoleh beberapa hal di antaranya material dan peralatan yang digunakan, metode pekerjaan struktur, serta kendala yang dihadapi dan solusi penyelesaian yang dilakukan di lapangan. Pekerjaan struktur yang diamati meliputi pekerjaan pelat lantai, balok, kolom, dan raft foundation. Selain itu, dilakukan pengamatan terhadap penerapan keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja (K3) pada proyek Gedung IT Mandiri.

Every student must be ready to face the professionalism of his work in accordance with the field he is in. Due to this situation, ITS sets internship courses so that students gain knowledge that is not provided by the campus. PT. PP (Persero), Tbk is one of the companies engaged in the field of building contractors which have experience in handling their fields. Because of this, PT. PP (Persero), Tbk has given the author the opportunity to carry out internship on the IT Mandiri Building Project. The IT Mandiri Building development project is located on Jl. Letjen. S Parman, Tomang Village, Grogol Petamburan District, West Jakarta. This project is built on an area of 34.490 m2 which consists of four buildings including the main tower, podium, digital hub, and parking building. In general, there are several things that can be obtained from internship activities, namely knowledge of the organization of the project and the technical implementation of construction in the field. In terms of project organization, much has been learned about the duties and responsibilities of each stakeholder and division that has a role in the construction of the Mandiri IT Building. When conducting observations in the field, several things can be obtained including the materials and equipment used, the method of structural work, as well as the obstacles encountered and settlement solutions carried out in the field. The structural work observed included floor slabs, beams, columns, and raft foundation work. In addition, observations were made on the implementation of occupational safety and health (HSE) in the IT Mandiri Building project.
