Abstract

Pendidikan tinggi, merupakan jenjang pendidikan paling tinggi dalam sistem pendidikan nasional yang menjadi salah satu pilar penting dalam pembangunan suatu bangsa. Salah satu perguruan tinggi di Indonesia yaitu PTN X yang terletak di Surabaya. Sejak tahun 2015 PTN X menjadi salah satu PTN-Badan Hukum yang berwenang terkait menetapkan, mengakat, dan membina tenaga tetap pegawai negeri sipil maupun non pegawai negeri sipil. Oleh sebab itu, PTN X dituntut untuk memberikan berbagai fasilitas pengembangan kepada karyawan guna meningkatkan kemampuan karyawannya dalam melakukan tugas dan pekerjaan yang dibebankan. Salah satu faktor yang mendorong efektivitas dan efisiensi karyawan dalam bekerja adalah tingkat kepuasan kerja. kepuasan kerja yang tinggi tidak dirasakan secara merata oleh semua karyawan (tenaga kependidikan), beberapa karyawan memiliki kepuasan kerja yang rendah. Tingkat kepuasan kerja yang masih rendah pada beberapa tenaga kependidikan juga berdampak pada tingkat motivasi kerja yang dirasakan. Selain itu organisasi juga perlu mendorong munculnya Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) agar meningkatkan perasaan memiliki (sense of belonging) yang kuat terhadap organisasi. Maka dari itu dengan tercapainya kepuasan kerja pada tenaga kependidikan, diharapkan motivasi kerja juga akan meningkat serta akan mendorong munculnya Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi hubungan kepuasan kerja, motivasi kerja dan Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) pada tenaga kependidikan di PTN X. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM) untuk menguji hipotesis yang telah dibentuk. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kepuasan kerja berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap motivasi kerja, civic virtue, altruism, dan conscientiousness. Sedangkan, dengan sportsmanship dan courtesy berpengaruh positif tidak signifikan. Selain itu diketahui pula bahwa motivasi kerja berpengaruh positif signifikan dengan civic virtue, altruism, sportsmanship, conscientiousness, dan courtesy. ================================================================================================ College is the highest level of education in the national education system which became one of the important pillars in the development of a nation. One of the universities in Indonesia is PTN X that located in Surabaya. Since 2015, PTN X state university legal entity or PTN-Badan Hukum in charge of establishing, accepting and maintaining permanent personnel of civil employees and non-civil employees. Therefore, PTN X is required to provide various development facilities to employees in order to improve the ability of their employees in performing the tasks and jobs that are charged. One of the factors driving the effectiveness and efficiency of employees in work is the level of job satisfaction. High job satisfaction is not felt uniformly by all staffs (educational staff), some employees have low job satisfaction. The low level of job satisfaction in some educational staff also has an impact on the level of work motivation perceived. In addition, organizations also need to encourage the emergence of Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) in order to enhance a strong sense of belonging to the organization. Therefore, with the achievement of job satisfaction in educational staff, it is expected that work motivation will also increase and will encourage the emergence of Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB). This study aims to identify the relationship of job satisfaction, work motivation and Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) to educational staff in PTN X. The results of this research indicate that job satisfaction has a significant positive effect to work motivation, civic virtue, altruism, and conscientiousness. However, with sportsmanship and courtesy has a positive effect but not significant. It is also known that work motivation has a significant positive effect with civic virtue, altruism, sportsmanship, conscientiousness, and courtesy.
