Abstract

Heater Drain Pump (HDP) adalah pompa yang digunakan untuk memompa air dari Heater Drain Tank menuju ke pipa air kondensat. Air heater drain ini memiliki temperatur yang cukup tinggi sehingga bisa digunakan untuk menambah suplai air kondensat yang menuju ke Deaerator. Pada PLTU di PJB UP Gresik terdapat masing – masing 1 pompa pada unit 3 dan 4. Pada tugas akhir ini bertujuan untuk melakukan perencanaan ulang instalasi dan pemilihan pompa yang sesuai untuk feed water heater drain system. Perhitungan dimulai dari kapasitas sehingga kecepatan setiap section dapat dicari. Kecepatan setiap section ini digunakan untuk mencari head loss total instalasi. Perhitungan head, daya dan efisiensi dilakukan secara analitis dan numerik menggunakan software pipe flow expert. Pada hasil perhitungan diperoleh kapasitas , Head Effektif Instalasi Heff = 171,0353 m dan NPSHA 2,72 m. Dengan data tersebut maka dipilih pompa dengan kapasitas , total head 175 m, NPSHR 2,1 m, jumlah stage 7 dan daya motor . Sehingga dengan kebutuhan tersebut, maka pemilihan pompa sentrifugal multistage tipe TSM-7 (YOSHIKURA KOGYO) sudah tepat. ========================================================================================================== Heater Drain Pump (HDP) is a pump that used to distribute water from Heater Drain Tank to condensate water pipe. This heater drain water has high temperature so that it can be used to add condensate water supply that lead to Deaerator. At PLTU PJB UP Gresik there is one pump on each unit 3 and 4. This final project is purposed to redesign the installation and selecting pump that suitable for feed water heater drain system. The calculation start from capacity so that the speed of each section can be searched. The speed of each section is used to find the total head loss installation. The calculation of head, power and efficiency will be calculated by analytic and numeric method using pipe flow expert software. The calculation result acquired capacity is , Head Effektif Installation Heff = 171,0353 m and NPSHA 2,72 m. With such pump data so will be selected pump capacity is , total head 175 m, NPSHR 2,1 m, number of stage 7 and motor power . So with those requitments the selection of centrifugal multistage pump type TSM-7 (YOSHIKURA KOGYO) has already correct.
