Abstract

Salah satu pendukung kekuatan ekonomi adalah keberhasilan usaha, tercapainya target, visi dan misi dalam dunia kerja yang akhirnya akan mempengaruhi kekuatan ekonomi Negara Indonesia. Kehadiran banyaknya generasi Y (millennials) dan semakin berkembang pesatnya penggunaan teknologi pada Era Industrial 4.0 ini akan berdampak pada budaya organisasi di tempat kerja. Dua instansi yang berperan bagi kemajuan Negara yakni instansi PTNBH dan BUMN di Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji cross-organizational cultural pada kedua instansi serta menganalisa pemodelan budaya organisasi pengaruhnya terhadap kinerja dan memberikan rekomendasi penerapan budaya organisasi serta variabel lainnya dalam penelitian di PTNBH dan BUMN di Indonesia. Budaya organisasi merupakan suatu sistem nilai, sikap, norma dan perilaku, yang terdapat dalam suatu organisasi serta menjadi ciri khas dari sebuah organisasi dan dapat dikembangkan secara terus – menerus. Pemodelan yang digunakan pada penelitian ini terdiri dari lima variabel laten dengan dua variabel mediasi yakni Transformational Leadership (TL), Budaya Organisasi (OC), Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB), Job Satisfaction (JS), Individual Innovativeness and flexibility (IF) dan Organizational Performance (OP). Model ini kemudian di uji dengan menggunakan metode Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). Pengujian dilakukan pada pegawai atau karyawan dari generasi millennials yang berusia 20 – 44 tahun berdasarkan pada Tapscott (1998). Hasil menunjukkan bahwa di PTNBH terdapat 3 variabel yang tidak berhubungan signifikan yakni TL terhadap JS, serta TL dan OCB terhadap OP. Sedangkan objek BUMN Pembangkitan A menunjukkan hasil hubungan antar variabel yakni semua berpengaruh signifikan kecuali pada hubungan leadership dengan performa organisasi. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa variabel budaya organisasi memiliki pengaruh yang cukup signifikan baik sebagai variabel eksogen maupun endogen. Sehingga menunjukkan pentingnya pelaksanaan secara continuitas pada budaya organisasi di sebuah instansi serta adanya hubungan yang kuat dari generasi millennials dengan budaya organisasi, sehingga diharapkan millennials dapat menjadi agen budaya organisasi di sebuah instansi kerja. ============================================================================================== One of the supporters of economic strength is the success of the business, the achievement of targets, vision, and mission in the world of work which will ultimately affect the economic strength of the Indonesian State. The presence of many Y generations (millennials) and the increasingly rapid use of technology in the Industrial Era 4.0 will have an impact on organizational culture in the workplace. Two agencies play a role in the progress of the State, namely the Public University Institution and State-Owned Company in Indonesia. This study aims to examine cross-organizational culture in both institutions and to analyze organizational culture modeling of its effects on performance and to provide recommendations for the application of organizational culture and other variables in research at Public University Institution and State-Owned Company. Organizational culture is a system of values, attitudes, norms, and behaviors, which are contained in an organization and become a characteristic of an organization and can be developed continuously. The modeling used in this study consists of five latent variables with two mediating variables namely Transformational Leadership (TL), Organizational Culture (OC), Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB), Job Satisfaction (JS), Individual Innovativeness and flexibility (IF), and Organizational Performance (OP). This model is then tested using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method. Testing is carried out on employees or employees of the millennials generation aged 20 - 44 years based on Tapscott (1998). The results show that in Public University Institution there are 3 variables that are not significantly related, namely TL to JS, and TL and OCB to OP. Meanwhile, the object of State-Owned Company shows results on the relationship between the variables, which all have a significant effect except for the relationship between leadership and performance. This study concludes that organizational culture variables have a significant influence both as exogenous and endogenous variables. So that shows the importance of implementing continuity in organizational culture in an institution as well as the strong relationship of the millennial generation with the organizational culture so that it is hoped that millennials can become agents of organizational culture in a work agency.
