Abstract

The Advanced Meter Infrastructure - Smart Meters (AMI - SM) technology implemented by PT XYZ plays in providing accurate and detailed information about energy consumption. This information is then used as a basis for decision-making and strategy implementation to optimize energy use and reduce wastage. TAM implementation involves strategies and tactics to encourage users to adopt technology and improve organization. In this study, several hypotheses are presented within the TAM framework. Using the PLS-SEM method, including the relationship between behavioural intention, perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, external factors, and the actual use of customers served by AMI-SM. From the analysis results, the hypotheses are accepted in this case, as they exhibit positive and significant values. The criteria are as follows: the original sample has a positive value, with a significance level of α = 5%, where T-statistics ≥ 1.96 and P-values ≤ 0.05. This applies to the relationships between Perceived Usefulness and Behavioral Intention, External Factors and Perceived Usefulness, External Factors and Perceived Ease of Use, and Behavioral Intention and Actual Use. Conversely, there is no significant influence between Perceived Ease of Use and Behavioral Intention, and the impact of External Factors on Behavioral Intention is also not significant.
