Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor -faktor sumber daya manusia yang mempengaruhi keseimbangan kehidupan kerja untuk pengembangan sumber daya manusia dan efek gen z pada produktivitas. Work life balance adalah perhatian utama berdasarkan faktor-faktor seperti social and economic inequality, mental health and well being, human rights and social justice. Ini dianggap penting oleh masyarakat, termasuk gen z. Studi ini mengidentifikasi keadaan work life balance pada gen z, faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi mereka, dan efeknya pada pengembangan sumber daya manusia dan produktivitas tenaga kerja. Berdasarkan data, social and economic inequality adalah masalah masyarakat yang paling tertinggi dengan 60% dari mereka dan 51% memilih mental health and well being menjadi kekhawatiran ke 2 (dua). Sehingga para pekerja memandang social and economic inequality sebagai prioritas nomor satu mereka. Studi ini menggunakan model Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) untuk menguji hubungan antara keseimbangan kehidupan kerja, pengembangan SDM, dan produktivitas tenaga kerja. Populasi penelitian terdiri dari karyawan gen z yang lahir antara tahun 1997 dan 2012, dengan teknik pengambilan sampel convenience sampling. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan mencakup total 223 responden yang memenuhi kriteria sampel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa personal life enhancement tidak secara signifikan mempengaruhi work life balance dan pengembangan sumber daya manusia. Sebaliknya, personal life interference telah terbukti memiliki dampak yang signifikan pada work life balance dan pengembangan sumber daya manusia

The study aims to analyze human resource factors that affect work-life balance for human resource development and the effect of gen z on productivity. Work-life balance is a major concern based on factors such as social and economic inequality, mental health and well-being, human rights and social justice. This is considered important by society, including gen z. This study identifies the state of work-life balance in gen z, the factors that influence them, and their effects on human resource development and labor productivity. Based on the data, social and economic inequality is the highest community problem with 60% of them and 51% choosing mental health and well-being as the 2nd (second) concern. So that workers view social and economic inequality as their number one priority. This study uses the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) model to test the relationship between work-life balance, HR development, and labor productivity. The study population consists of gen z employees born between 1997 and 2012, with a convenience sampling technique. The research instrument used includes a total of 223 respondents who meet the sample criteria. The results of the study indicate that personal life enhancement does not significantly affect work life balance and human resource development. On the contrary, personal life interference has been shown to have a significant impact on work life balance and human resource development
