Abstract

Sistem evaluasi pada Learning Management System (LMS) di perguruan tinggi pada umumnya masih bersifat statis dan satu arah, sehingga memunculkan tantangan tersendiri dalam menjaga fokus dan motivasi mahasiswa. Meskipun evaluasi adalah hal yang esensial, terdapat kendala integrasi (silo data) antara platform kuis eksternal dengan basis data LMS lokal, latensi pada sinkronisasi timer, serta distorsi penilaian akademik akibat penggabungan akumulasi progres belajar dengan skor evaluasi kompetitif. Aplikasi ini diharapkan menjadi media evaluasi native yang mampu menyajikan data tersinkronisasi secara real-time dan terintegrasi penuh ke dalam sistem LMS. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut, penulis mengembangkan modul kuis multi userdengan fitur real-time leaderboard yang terintegrasi langsung (native embedded) di dalam LMS ITS DOJO. Sinkronisasi data dan posisi peringkat dikelola secara real-time menggunakan arsitektur jaringan hibrid yang menggabungkan HTTP Polling (untuk jaminan konsistensi indeks soal) dan WebSocket (Socket.IO) untuk pembaruan skor instan. Sistem Dual-XP melalui Drizzle ORM diimplementasikan untuk memisahkan skor kompetitif (Leaderboard XP) dari progres personal akun pengguna (Profile XP) secara adil. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi ITS DOJO memberikan pengalaman evaluasi yang positif dan mendukung atmosfer kompetisi yang sehat di lingkungan kelas. Hasil evaluasi System Usability Scale (SUS) menunjukkan tingkat penerimaan yang tinggi dengan skor 80,125 (Grade B / Excellent), menandakan pengguna dapat mengoperasikan sistem dengan percaya diri. Hasil Single Ease Question (SEQ) menunjukkan tingkat kemudahan antarmuka yang sangat baik dengan nilai median berkisar antara 6 hingga 7 serta nilai modus 7 di seluruh skenario tugas. Pengujian Black Box juga menyoroti keabsahan fungsional 100% pada alur sistem. ITS DOJO berhasil menerjemahkan elemen psikologis Octalysis Framework menjadi logika sistem terstruktur (seperti Streak Counter dan Live Leaderboard) untuk menghasilkan dinamika kelas yang aktif dan imersif.

Evaluation systems in higher education Learning Management Systems (LMS) are generally still static and one-way, posing challenges in maintaining student focus and motivation. Although evaluation is essential, there are integration obstacles (data silos) between external quiz platforms and the local LMS database, latency in timer synchronization, and distortion of academic assessment due to the aggregation of learning progress with competitive evaluation scores. This application is expected to be a native evaluation medium capable of presenting real-time synchronized data and fully integrated into the LMS system. Based on these issues, the author developed a multi userquiz module with a real-time leaderboard feature integrated directly (native embedded) into the ITS DOJO LMS. Data synchronization and ranking positions are managed in real-time using a hybrid network architecture that combines HTTP Polling (for ensuring question index consistency) and WebSockets (Socket.IO) for instant score updates. A Dual-XP system via Drizzle ORM is implemented to separate competitive scores (Leaderboard XP) from the users' personal account progress (Profile XP) fairly. The test results show that the ITS DOJO application provides a positive evaluation experience and supports a healthy competitive atmosphere in the classroom environment. The System Usability Scale (SUS) evaluation results show a high level of acceptance with a score of 80.125 (Grade B / Excellent), indicating that users can operate the system confidently. The Single Ease Question (SEQ) results demonstrate an excellent interface ease-of-use level with median scores ranging from 6 to 7 and a mode score of 7 across all task scenarios. Black Box testing highlights 100% functional validity in the system flow. ITS DOJO successfully translates psychological elements of the Octalysis Framework into structured system logic (such as Streak Counter and Live Leaderboard) to generate an active and immersive classroom dynamic.
