Abstract

Mobile Instant Messaging is a communication application that is currently to be needed by many people to communicate to others easily and quickly. MIM not only provides chat services, MIM also provides interesting and unique features. Based on this factor. LINE as MIM is currently widely used as a communication platform, especially for students. Some previous studies have studied extensively on LINE, but there is still a little research that discusses the determinants of perceived usefulness to the continuity of using LINE. Through Expectation Confirmation Model (ECM), this research tries to investigate the determinant factor of perceived usefulness to continuity of LINE usage. This study will use online surveys to students in Indonesia. The method used in this study using simple linear regression method and Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) is used to validate the research model. The results of this study indicates that confirmation affect the perceived usefulness, that perceived usefulness can influence the continuance intention, confirmation also influence the satisfaction, and perceived usefulness can also affect the satisfaction, perceived usefulness also has influence on satisfaction and this research also find satisfaction can influence the continuance intention and then habit can affect the continuance intention so that result of research that found company can find out the right strategy applied to increase LINE revenue
