Abstract

This internship report aims to explain the implementation of technical support provided by the Data Center Support (DCS) team in the Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) program. During the program, the DCS team was responsible for handling various technical issues that occurred in the virtual labs used by participants and mentors. The workflow began with receiving problem reports, conducting initial diagnostics, and escalating issues to the Level 2 (L2) support team if necessary. A literature review was conducted to understand the technologies and tools used in the virtual lab environment, including Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), SELinux, Docker, and Kubernetes. Standard operating procedures were designed to ensure that each step in problem handling was carried out efficiently and effectively. The implementation of these procedures was followed by testing and evaluation to ensure that the support system functioned well and met the needs of participants and mentors. Conclusions and recommendations were drawn based on the evaluation results, focusing on improving problem resolution speed and the effectiveness of communication between the DCS and L2 teams. With a structured methodological approach, this report highlights the importance of the DCS role in maintaining the stability and performance of the virtual labs and its contribution to the success of the RHCSA program.
